Holiday - Log 3, 4 & 5

Hi both,
I have been too busy to email every day so here are the Friday, Saturday and Sunday summaries.
On Friday I played lots with Moppet.
On Saturday I played lots with Moppet.
On Sunday I played lots with Moppet.

I’m sleeping well. Got very tired Saturday and Sunday as I had no afternoon nap on the bed! Was a little sick on Saturday a.m. but nothing to speak about. I had eaten a whole chew. Had to wee on a puppy pad as it was raining and I wouldn’t do anything outside with my coat on or off!! It was very windy and all the noises in the bushes spooked me a little.

I got lost indoors on Saturday and a search by Red and Grey Hair revealed I was asleep on a pile of clean washing. I had blended with the background of black trousers and I heard a panicky voice so pricked up my ears, which gave my position away.

Aunty “Nesta” visited me on Sunday afternoon and I endeared myself to her by cuddling up and giving the “puppy eyes” look.

I like to tease Tilly till she gets cross.

Weather here is cold, windy and the sea has been over the wall down at the front. Bet your weather is the same. NOT!!!! You lucky things!!

Holiday - Log 2

Hi both,
I had a very good second day. Slept very well and am feeling more settled. We are into a bit of a routine so that when I am put in the playpen I don’t shout as much cos I know I’ll be out in half an hour (still don’t like it though).

I have made more of an acquaintance of Tilly. She is still a mystery to me but I have been told that she is a mystery to herself as well. I have been playing with Moppet a lot and have discovered that I can sit on the sofa in the evening. I get whichever toy Moppet doesn’t want and take on the sofa with me. Again had a cosy nap with Red and Grey on the bed yesterday afternoon.

Ankles phoned to check I was having a good holiday. Have a good holiday yourselves and see you in two weeks with lots of loud ties.

Holiday - Log 1

Both Black and Blue Slippers are away somewhere called ‘Tieland’. Probably looking for some more loud Versace Ties that they both like to wear. These blog’s will me my messages to the both of them as they gone and left me with my chocolate lady friend Moppet.

Hi both,
If you are reading this then I’m glad you got there safely.

My holiday hotel is great. I remember I stayed here before. I’ve been playing with Moppet a lot and I’m pretty worn out. Slept very well on my first night. I have a great corner in the bedroom where I can be first to see who is awake. However I stayed in bed till 8.00am (not the usual 6.30am that you wake me up by). Got up for a wander round the garden and to have breakfast. Played with Moppet though I had to go back to bed while aunty Red Hair and uncle Grey Hair went out this morning. When they got back I heard you on the telephone message playback. Met “Mike” the gardener. Got so tired that we all went to bed this afternoon. I showed how cute I could be and slept on the bed with Red, Grey and Moppet. Have had tea and Tilly has been a little more friendly. I’m ready for bed now as its 9.30pm. By the time I get up you should be there. I am sat on aunty Red’s lap while I dictate this.

My weekend away

So I’ve been to the Big Smoke and boy was it different. Where’s the big garden? The distant views [yes even from my height]? The clean streets!!! I was too scared to poop in the road for fear of catching something!

I got to meet Grey Slippers again, along with Socks, Cheesy Feet and Bloody Hell They’re Crusty Feet [or BHTCF for short]. I didn’t get to meet Angel however, he seemed to be making the most of the Bank Holiday weekend, no doubt partying with his neighbourhood chums. I wonder why I didn’t get an invite..?

Black Slippers took me to a big field called Alexandra Palace. Didn’t seen a palace, just a bunch of geeks dressed as Orc’s waving swords around. I did get to run around loads off the lead, but then I was caught. Damn my fascination for my pink frisbee!

I also got to play with BHTCF a lot, though he made it easy by not shutting his bedroom door properly and lying in reach. Socks and Grey Slippers were really cool, playing with me lots. While Cheesy Feet was really nice to snuggle up to when I became tired.

I had loads of fun with everyone, as you can see from the new photos I’ve managed to put up. I played so much that I pretty much went to sleep straight away each night. No bothering Black Slippers into the early hours of the morning.

I was kinda sad that it had to end, but I was really happy to see blue Slippers when I got home.

Big Smoke

So I hear that I’m off to London this weekend to meet Black Slippers family… Can’t wait… I hear one of them farts as bad as I do so that should be interesting [after all we dogs like smells]. Also, I’m going to finally meet Angel - the cat. Could be fun, depends whether he likes to play.

Antie Biotics

So, I’ve “passed” my puppy classes..? So why does Black Slippers get to go out for the night to an “Award Ceremony” to collect a certificate when I put all of the hard work in!!!

The cheek of it and my teeth are still dropping out and my nose is crusty. Apparently the lady with the “thermometer up the bottom” administrator says I’m suffering from teenage psoriasis. It’s crusty and runny all at the same time, and not that bad tasting. Good job my tongue is long enough to have a good lick at it. She also mentioned something about Antie Biotics. Never knew a had an auntie called that. Hmmm…

Off to try and find her now before Black Slippers comes home to make me swallow the litte white pill.

“Wee wee”

Puppy classes. I think we’re getting the hang of it. After sniffing some butts and saying hello to the other dogs in my class, we started the exercises as normal (nevermind the fact Black Slippers wanted to practise themat home). We then had to line up and watch each owner take it’s turn and do the whole routine. We were was last and I got bored waiting. I needed to pee and poo but I was too nervous. Black Slippers even took me outside so I could go “wee wee”.

Wee wee… I’m a pup, not a moron!

So, each of the others had to do each exercise a few times because the owners kept on doing things wrong. Good job I’ve got Black Slippers trained so well. So finally it was our turn and apart from the “down” command (I was desperate and I peed myself) we did really well. In fact we did the whole routine in the shortest time. I think we’re going to very well when have our exam next week. Not bad for a pup that’s only 5 months old and it’s “first time owning a dog” owner.

Pee tactics

Hmmmm… I think the Slippers are trying to tell me something. Everytime I start to pee in the nice warm house, I get picked up and rushed out of the room and into the freezing cold garden [even on a nice sunny day - I feel the cold]. Sometimes they don’t even give me the chance to stop and I leave a little pee trailall the way out to the garden. Maybe I should pee out there? It’s a good job I poo on the decking and not indoors - the smell pheeeew!

Poo and pee

Hmmm! I’ve been to two of these “Puppy Training” classes and I can’t say I’m impressed. I’m the one doing all of the bloody work while Black Slippers gets to choke me and drag around this big room full of other dogs! Still, I get the chance for the odd bottom sniff - mine and theirs…

Haven’t managed to train Black Slippers to do anything other than to clean up after I have a poo and pee. Though I think it’s because Big Scary Lady made him do it. Even had to bring home in the silver moving thing the first and second time we went. Didn’t realise how it smelled until then. Usually I eat it up before I’m found out, but not lately.

Making lots of dog friends. New on the list is Smudge and Border Collie. He’s fun and he lets me jump up and down on his face when he lies down. Also he takes my collar off so I can run around. However Black Slipper, ever watchful, is there to catch me and to strangle me with it. Sometimes I wish I could put him on the lead…
